About Event
Indian Institute of Technology Madras has launched the Kotak-IIT Madras Save Energy Mission (KISEM) with the CSR sponsorship of Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd, with a motivation to improve the sustainability of Indian MSMEs. KISEM undertakes energy audits and detailed assessments to improve energy use by cutting losses and identifying newer technology implementation opportunities. There are 7 KISEM centres operational in various IITs (Madras, Bombay, Indore, Gandhinagar, Ropar, Guwahati & Hyderabad) across India. So far, 100 plus MSMEs have benefited from this mission nationwide.
KISEM, in coordination with its partners & key stakeholders, is organizing a one-day workshop on "Enabling Energy Efficiency in Indian MSMEs" (8th of December 2023) at IIT Madras campus premises during the Energy Week (4th to 8th December). We invite stakeholders from across the nation who stand committed to developing and implementing energy efficiency solutions to showcase their innovations, novel approaches and upcoming technologies towards energy conservation & reduction in GHG emissions.
The workshop will feature an exposition (7th & 8th of December 2023) with stalls from 40 plus renewable & energy efficiency solution providers to showcase futuristic products & services available for all manufacturing sectors that help cut down their overall energy cost by effectively utilising the available energy resources.
Dignitaries from the Tamil Nadu State Government, State Nodal Agencies, Industrial Associations, Financial Institutions, and other relevant stakeholders will be present to share their views and ideas. We expect over 200 delegates for the event.
